Goodman Theatre

Since its inception for over 80 years, the Goodman Theatre has been associated with entertainment since 1925.

The theatre features works of extraordinary group of local, national and international artists. The theatre, known for its quality productions follows three basic principles- quality, diversity, and community.

Since 1977, Goodman Theatre has offered student matinee performances for high school and college audiences; professionally- oriented workshops for high school students; lecture programs and discussion classes for adults; and a comprehensive internship program, providing entry- level professional experience for college seniors and graduates.

Chicago Public High School students are eligible to participate in the Yollocalli Youth Drama Workshop in partnership with the Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum in Pilsen, as well as the recently created General Theater Studies Program.
