A sophisticated and an elegant restaurant was opened in November 1998. The restaurant has been acclaimed by the CHICAGO TRIBUNE and the CHICAGO SUN TIMES, both recognizing MK with a three- star review.

The renowned chef and restaurateur, Michael Kornick has been nominated by the James Beard Foundation as the "Best Midwest Chef" many times. Also, MK was awarded the IVY restaurant award in May of 2006. Mk's team, led under the dynamic leadership of Executive Chef Todd Stein, Pastry Chef Kate Neumann and General Manager Kara Sherman, create the perfect balance between excitement and relaxation.

The restaurant's private dining holds a sign of aristocracy. The room is located on the second level which proves to be a kaleidoscope for your eyes. The spacious room can uphold any of your special events like a conference, a family dinner or even a cocktail party for sixty people.

Their private dining team led by event coordinator Kate Gaddi will help you plan your private function to the last detail, Incase you require some special arrangements like sound equipment, specialty linens, or custom designed floral arrangements; Kate will coordinate and arrange those special details to create the majesty and grandeur for your guests.
